SINGAPORE: Police have arrested 23 people for suspected involvement in an online vice syndicate, after an eight-hour island-wide operation.
The suspects used websites showing scantily clad women to lure their clients.
The websites listed information such as the age of the women, their country of origin, physical attributes, price and even when they will be arriving in Singapore.
Police also uncovered one location believed to have been used as a call centre by the syndicate.
They seized items such as cash, laptops, hand phones, bank books, ATM cards, phone cards, and also a white board used to record schedules of sexual services.
Investigation into all the suspects is ongoing.
