Today see ST it cost less than $3 one way from Tampines to Jurong(bus-MRT-bus)
I think max will be $3.50 eg. Changi Village to end of Tuas(power Station).

You sure?, there is noo direct bus to Tuas Power Station only on Number 182 or is it 184 from Boon Lay Interchange, of course, you get lots of discounts changing from train/bus/bus....to bullock cart..oops!..ha ha ha

Why gahment like people to transfer? If I need only one bus, why do I have to pay more?

Just like gimmicks like if u buy 1 KKJ, it'll cost u $0.8, but if u buy 3, u'll *only* need to pay $3?

Unlikely when you consider Chinks make up 70% of the population at present. They are LKY's preferred breed for their compliance, complicity and cowardice. The 3 Cs as I like to call it. But fret not. There is a silver lining in this cloud. The Chinks are a dying breed at 1.07 replacement level and falling. You might say "look we have the PRC workers and prostitutes". True; but these parasites will leave the moment the shit hits the fan. And the shit will hit the fan.. its a question of when. The exodus of Singaporeans out of this island, the Chinks included, is a worrying trend and increasing exponentially over time. Factor the low fertility rate of the Chinks and you have a species [the Singapore Chink variety] that is hurtling towards extinction. This island will ultimately go back to its original owners within the next 50 years. Its inevitability.

Raise the price?

Before they raise the price, shouldn't they be solving the 'un-updated bus stage' problem first?

That is a bigger rip off as compared to the price hike!

Cash-paying commuters will be affected as well. Cash fares are set to increase by 10 cents for adult bus and train rides.

To those commuters who don't have the EZ-link card they increase the amount for cash fare. Whereas to those who needs to use the EZ link card, purchasing the card would cost $5 extra dollars (non-refundable card purchase). Both way they sure make one!
