There is still hope after all in sinkieland. this is very heartening, not because there is no columbarium coming, but in the fact that the PAP is actually scared enough to reverse their decision. They have already conducted the polls and surveys and they know that this single ward is going to the oppo in a landslide loss at the next GE. They are trying to salvage something now. I expect the residents to face a rash of goodies in the near future to win back their favour. The big loser is Lampar Min who was point man to defend this columbarium and very visibly set with the developers, URA, HDB and the funeral company on the long table to fight against his own constituent. this is a fucker who really does not know which side his bread is buttered on.
It shows that in the day of internet, social media, etc. sinkies are not relying on the official version putout by the prostitute press in Bradell road, and instead can ascertain for themselves when wool is being pulled over their eyes. Now, if only they will be more proactive on other issues like CPF, FT. high cost of living, etc.
