After two independent media outlets shut down in Hong Kong in recent weeks, concerns about the collapse of the city’s once-robust media are deepening. The Citizen News announced that it would shut down, following last year's casualties: the website Stand News and the newspaper Apple Daily. Beijing walks firmly in the path of silencing independent media in the former British colony
