Changing rooms were also turned into casinos and games rooms into mini sports betting centre with table tennis, chess and carrom all played for money stakes. Even idle patrol cars could be raced for money stakes.

During NS time I used FRC for drifting during raining days ...;)

Fast respond car must let me test to see whether it's really fast respond anot mah ... That why I use it to drift ...;)

I thought drift is for DPC...drifting patrol cars. For fast response, must use shift, shift gears fast! :D

RWS security is headed by Oh Kar Chye. Very nice chap with no airs. Met him a couple of times inside RWS. He is quite happy there.

Don't forget, up until the late 90s, many detectives doubled up as runners on weekends at the Turf Club. Some were big-time gamblers too. Betting 1000-1000 was common.

They eat tickets and bet at the same time - can be a fatal combination when you lose your bet and those you makan masuk, especially the out-out. Driving or flying to KL, Ipoh and Penang was common then.

so u big time gambler or not?

There's many ways to drift a car . If you are travelling at a high speed and you want to drift to a corner .. Must you drop gear ? ...this is the best way for me ..

Clutch Kick technique

1Used while you are already moving to increase angle and/or revive wheel spin.
2While you are drifting, you may feel the car begin to lose its drift angle and power. If this happens, you can kick the clutch to attempt to revive to tires spinning speed. This is similar to powershifting, and you are in essence trying to 'chirp' the tires again and again.
3Enter a drift.
4while you still have the power put on, kick the clutch pedal in and out a few times as fast as you can until the car is drifting again.
5end with your foot off of the pedal.
6continue the drift, and when you feel the car begin to lose angle/power try to clutch kick again.
