The turn of event surprised many too.

Abhisit is a good guy and is capable. But problem is that his government does not have mandate from the people. Mandate from the Bangkokians and PAD and Southerners is not good enough!

Previously it was PAD who protested. Now is the red shirts DAAD! So what now? If DAAD block Government House and airport, will the Government do anything? If they do, then people will question why didn't they punish PAD in the first place?
