Maintenance is also a big issue for new landed strata titled properties. I heard that eco summer charging more than rm400 and eco sprimg more than rm800 a month is quite exorbitant. Anyway, the developer up to now, still refuse to confirm the rate making house owners sweating.

RM 400 per month is cheap if the landscape and clubhouse are well maintained and a sinking fund continues to grow healthily. Everything is expensive nowadays. The minimum wage has just been increased.

FYI, eco summer have no club house. RM400 per month without club house is really expensive.

Can you verify your figures to clear any doubts? Even if it is $400 RM, the expenditure will be audited before handing over to the residents' management committee. The surplus should appear as sinking fund. Thanks.

This is not about the expenditure to be audited or not. This is about exorbitant fee. You think rm400 per month without club house facilities is affordable and reasonable?
 
RM400 is not dirt cheap. Condo have facilities. Eco summer don't have that. Is a big different.
 
In reality, when you buy, you thought is cheap..... but after you committed to it, than you regret it because is a hidden cost. I remember Ecoworld told the buyers at 1st launch the fee is only RM200 plus a month. Now the salesman telling it maybe RM400 plus. Is this ethical? Anyway, the worst is Eco Spring....RM800 per month. Jialat.

You asking? Don't invest in either one. Though prices in Singapore are going down, it's a safer place to invest with less political and currency risk and the government's push for higher population with limited land.

Maintenance fee for any condo must increase as it has no other source of income to cushion increase in maintenance expenses and wages of security guards. When the condo gets older, the increase will be more or else there will be lump sum levy for expensive replacements.
 
A 3 bedder condo in Singapore can cost $1m, a 3 bedder condo in Johor can cost RM1 million, for me I will opt for the latter.

3 bedder condo in JB cost RM1, I will opt for $333k 4rm/5rm BTO in Singapore.
 
Buy one Hdb, one private plus another iskandar condo?

Iskandar? 3x the size of Sg and only 25% of Sg population which will and must increase substantially with limited land. Besides, RM has declined all the way for 50 years since separation and per capita income against SG is widening. Worst is that rules can be unfairly implemented for the protection of religion and .......
