It's proposed that alll HDB flat sales proceeds will go back into CPF, regardless of CPF or cash portions originally used to financed the original acquisition of the flat. This is to ensure sufficient retirement funds.

Perhaps, to prevent retirees from squandering their retirement money on gambling, prostitution or standing for election.

Selling flat has nothing to do with retirement funds under existing laws of cash back to cash and CPF back to CPF.

no problem. just ask for higher COV when u sell off your hdb flat. :)
