Scant national flag displays ignite debate on patriotism in Singapore on Reddit​

There was one year in the 90s where the govt came and hang a flag outside each HDB unit. One fine day when I got home, I found that my flag was stolen! Can you believe it? Some idiot actually stole the flag? So my unit was the only unit in the entire blk without a flag displayed. That made me so proud!
