miss ireland, i think, is the prettiest of them all.
miss thailand would be a much better representative of asia than miss philippines. miss philippines blew her q&a in the final 5 when she had a good chance to make at least 1st runner-up. miss thailand won 2 other prizes including miss photogenic and the best national dress, but didn't make the swimsuit round (final 15).
notice that many northern european countries including russia have decided to send darker-haired contestants to the pageant. they all looked like latinas from central and south america. latina-looking females have set the standard for beauty for the last 3 decades. even eyes, eye lashes and make-up around the eyes have grown darker.
my favorite is miss venezuela, but politically, she doesn't stand a chance to win it this time: her predecessor is the reigning miss universe; chavez would have gotten a serious hard-on and fuck everyone in the presidential palace.
if miss singapore were to make it to the final 5, the judges would need to have a singlish translator. nbc cameramen didn't even want to get close to miss singapore a second time, not even for a second. no clips of her except in the starting line-up when everyone gets half a second passing glance.
