5am... that brings back painful memories when I had to book in to a shitty SAF camp. Even most of the low SES blue collar workers hadn't woken up yet.

From my home, I can make it for roll call at tekong despite need to take bum boat at changi jetty then a tonner from tekong jetty to camp 3. But I won’t make it for 0700 roll call at Gedong so usually book in the night before. Gedong till now still the most ulu camp in term of mass public transport system. Just the walk from bus stop to main gate take more than 10 min and another 5-10min to the coyline.

Overcrowded little urban shithole, any more social distancing and some will have to go into the sea.

Besides, I think all (most) of those 'ambassadors' don't operate at such hours.
