Another MP came up with a genius idea in parliament. Melvin Yong of Radin Mas GRC suggested for taxi drivers to also drive buses. There was a lack of manpower when many bus drivers contracted Covid-19 this year, so he thought it would be great if taxi drivers can take over their jobs (ChinHan, 2022).

Patriotic? Did not not see how many MP/Ministers cry in parliament about salary not high enough, for them to continue serving this country? PAP wanted pragmatism in their own term , but citizens cannot choose their choice of work?

Many PAP MPs and ministers took a huge paycut when they left private sector to serve the public. You are welcome to google it.

For losers like you, earning $3000 a month is a lot of money. But for real talent, they could easily earn $3000 a day.

Please provide a list of the Ministers and Ministers of State who took a reduction in salary or annual earnings from profession or non government related agencies, to be a politician.
As well as their pre politics earned income.
I speculate that there may be a handful.
But an individual like one lawyer, may have earned a few million dollars before, but he has demonstrated that he is uncivil, impolite, unbecoming of a SC. Please send him back to practise as a lawyer and earn his millions, rather than have him serve or act as a Minister.

One is a Bargain who may or.may not know about Armour and Artillery, and the other "cannot see"
