The reason why older man prefer to marry non-Singaporean is simple. Our ladies do not/cannot make good lifetime companion.
Last week, I met up with 10 of my classmates for a gathering. Out of the 10, 7 are divorced since our last meeting about 8 years ago. 6 of the divorce are due to the finanical issue. The wives left them when they lose their job or incurred debt when business failed (but the women were so lovely when they were earning 10k per month). The last one was because the wife is constantly suspicious about him having affair although he did not. He couldn't take her tight rein and had to leave her. Most of them have children. It is really a pity...
The common traits of local women based on my observation of my friend's wives:
- Demanding (They deemed themselve to be always right)
- Calculative (They expect the men to pay for everything after marriage but share household chores equally)
- Petty (They expected to be forgiven with just a 'sorry' for any mistake they make but demand a full explaination and complete apology with gifts included from their men)
- Unrealistic expectation (They expect their men to be lovely-dovey forever while they can scream and shout at their men)
- Materialisic (Their ultimate aim is to eventually upgrade to at least Condo, stop work forever but continue to have money to shop like no tomorrow)
Lastly, they expect their men to have all the time for them (be at their beck and calling) and place them above everything else (including career and parents) while meeting all the above requirement.
Oh...Singapore women! Be more matured please...A guy can only do all the above if he wants to fuck you. It is almost impossible to be sustainable...after that be thankful if the guy is responsible and still treat you well...
