I fully agree with you.
Just to add that from very reliable sources, when LKY was a child, he was a very studious and good boy, always doing his school homework and always studying. His parents were strict and they have cane ever-readily and LKY was never ever caned but his other siblings were.
It is also quite obvious that all the good students that score good academic grades are surely those who are studious, obviously they have to be intelligent too. In addition, I guess most of these good students are those "kuai" type.
Now you know why parents who believe such studies end up giving kids ADHD medication to slow them down.
Anyway, its corrective behaviour which need not rely on the cane solely rather than medications.
ps. noticed you are coming out of your case of severe dyslexia. Can see your sentence better. You must have read a study that shows that people rely on word recognition to read faster than actually spelling out each word to get the meaning.
