A lot of retrenchment in past 12 months in IT sector, in the next six months, manufacturing sector will be hit. It is like the labour market gathering the herds before heading to the slaughterhouse.
All can retrain and become fab operator.

I was retrenched at 50 + managed to find a job 6 months later. I would say I'm one of the lucky ones who managed to find a job. I have full sympathy for those going through this process. It is not easy to find a job and even if you can find a job it is not easy to adapt to a new environment. The challenges are huge. Especially if you have commitments.
