Methods to drive away Cockroaches

Hi all, I've a friend who has some problems with cockroaches and need some ways to keep them out of her room. Are there any effective ways to go about it? Thank you in advance

Buy the Baygon cockroach poison trap, not the insecticide spray. It comes in 6-pack just about 4cm by 3cm each. One 6-pack costs about S$6 to 7 depending on where you buy it. You should use all 6 all at once, spreading them in strategic locations in your home. The effectiveness lasts about 3 to 4 months. The poison has a smell that actually attracts cockroaches. But once they tasted it, they'd run like hell realizing it's poison, then spread the poison to other cockroaches and killing other cockroaches. It not only kills them and more, it also helps stop them breeding and infesting.

Bad idea, you get even more cockroaches, you get crony cokcroaches with funky coloured bodies, that are neither male or feMALE...

Get a female cat. Cats will chase after them and tear them to bits and even eat them.

Don't spray at them with Baygon or insecticides. They are toxic to yr children. Use soap water or dishwashing liquid diluted with some water. These are safe and also very effective. They make the roaches drown by entering their breathing holes in their bodies and curl up and die. Then you just pick them up and throw them in yr toilet. To guarantee they die, pour bleach in yr toilet bowl.
