Noted. Thanks. Very capable? Her subordinates at HTA think otherwise. They tell me she is super on-the-ball but ball is square and not round.
What rank did he retire at?
Cabinet would not have endorsed her World Bank appointment without assessing her thoroughly. It remains as the most important event. Interestingly the current No. 1 and 2 were not considered.
I thought they standardise it Police and SAF pay. SAC is LTC equivalent right?
Not sure about Legal Service but SACs are highly unlikely to command 30k salary. If can be DCAD, his superscale grade should be higher than SAC.
Current number 1 was behaving like a schoolboy then so no surprise he was not considered. No idea why current number 2 was excluded. Cabinet could have chosen an OMS. Surprise they didn't and stuck with Zuraidah.
A DSP in the SPF may be equivalent to LTC in the SAF,

Spot on - it should have been an OMS no different to SAF with OMS taking charge of such events. She is an engineer by training and has handled all her assignments with credit.
A DSP in the SPF may be equivalent to LTC in the SAF,
but a SAC could be a BG or MG
If current number 1 was at ASP, DSP, Supt, DAC, AC rank and was touted as potential CP, many would have fainted. But once he attained SAC, he stood a chance.
Imo, he is where he is today coz many either opted out along the way or were marginalised for one reason or another. He was one of the few OMS left standing. The 2 Sohs failed along the way. Aubeck left many years ago. Leo even longer.
never understood police ranks. that's the only thing British left
for a minah, she is not pretty at all
she looks like the pappy kind of m&d.
I wont be surprised if she is a pappy candidate in next ge 2016.

How about Benedict Cheong? I thought he was a high flyer?
He is the President scholar GD talked about...
