Manchester United Season 2019 - 2020

Man United will never win anything big with Maguire in the backline. Overrated, overpriced English trash.

And if these shitty expensive English players are not played, the UK press will kpkb about it. Similar situation with Kane and Tottenham. A weak-minded manager is pressured to play them for political/PR reasons, not footballing reasons.

I'm not sure what Ole had in mind. Tactical wise he lost me completely. Why did he not play the stronger players in the first place just b4 the international break. Fred was poor right from the start. Matic was no better. Van de Beek is a joke, plays like a schoolboy and his only notable contribution was his dummy that led to the equalizer. It's a farked up team with a useless coaching team.

Macguire was bought for his heading prowess which neither of the two previous CDs could handle. He is doing ok. The problem is his partner. Lindelof is a poor fit, Bailly is better but then again his form is unpredictable. Needless to say, he ALWAYS injured when the club needs him.

Manchester United's Eric Cantona & Roy Keane in Premier League Hall of Fame

Eric Cantona celebrates scoring for Manchester United

Eric Cantona scored 70 goals in 156 Premier League appearances for Manchester United

Former Manchester United team-mates Eric Cantona and Roy Keane have been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
They join Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry, who were the first players to be inducted last month.

Cantona joined Sir Alex Ferguson's side from Leeds in 1992 and won four Premier League titles in five seasons.
"I am very happy and very proud, but at the same time I am not surprised," said the Frenchman, 54.
"I would've been surprised not to be elected. I have been lucky to play in this team, with wonderful players, a wonderful manager and wonderful fans."

The France international won the old First Division title with Leeds in 1991-92 and then scored 70 goals in 156 Premier League appearances for Manchester United, before retiring from football in 1997.
Cantona also famously launched a "kung-fu" kick at a fan after being sent off at Crystal Palace in January 1995, for which he received a nine-month ban.
Roy Keane, playing for Manchester United

Roy Keane won seven league titles with Manchester United

Irishman Keane was another dominant figure for Manchester United, leading them to seven Premier League titles during his 12 seasons at the club before his departure by mutual consent in 2005.
Keane said: "I feel very lucky to be inducted but I've only been inducted because of the players I've played with."
They were two of six more inductees to the Hall of Fame being announced this week. They have been selected from a 23-man shortlist based on the most combined votes from the public and a Premier League panel.

Unfortunate.

Hopefully ManU sticks with OGS. Can see the progress made. 2nd in EPL 2nd in Europa League.

The treble is just round the corner.

No loss really. Only the Premier League, FA and Champions League matter. If anything it shows up the weakness of a few of the players. Pogba is not a big game player. For someone as talented as he is,it was a clear no show on the big stage. Lindelof is a farking piece of shit. A useless bum. I knew when DG took the final kick,he was going to miss it. He can't handle pressure and most of his saves are with his feet and not his hands. It would be a miracle if he saves even one in the shootout. Stick with Dean Henderson as soon they they sort out the CD issue.
My man of the match goes to the Scotsman or Cavani who was the only player who showed energy and the desire to win. Can't believe he's 34.

I think the players just need more time. They will get better in a couple of seasons. David De gea is just unlucky. I mean seriously what are the chances that in a major european final you end up have all 10 outfield players from both team converting their penalties leaving it to the goalies to score as well? Crazy man.

Next season ManU will win either the EPL or the CL. All the other clubs are in decline. Only ManU is progressing. And under OGS they will produce the silverware.

I would have requested the stadium announcer to page for Sir Alex to take the final spot kick had I known DG was up for it.

I think the Europa League ranks higher than the domestic cups, both in prestige and money... but feel free to believe what you want to believe.

Both keepers were bad but the Villareal keeper had his palms on a number of them. so he was inevitably the one who would make the save. His confidence grew with each kick.
I agree it's not OGS fault but the substitution of Mason Greenwood raise more than an eyebrow. I thought Rashford played badly.

Nah..... The Europa league is for losers....Man U is all too familiar with the competition. They should consign this competition to the rubbish bin.

Rashford is the best striker in the world. He just had an off game. That chance from Cavani 9.999 times out of 10 rashford would have buried it.

ManU just unlucky. ManU is one of the best teams when it comes to penalties. They really train very hard at penalties. Good teams get awarded penalties and ManU gets many many penalties. All the players train to score penalties thats why they scored all their spot kicks. Villareal just lucky.

Obviously DDG doesnt train to score penalties. He trains to save them.

Look at the positives. How many teama can claim all their outfield players can score all their penalties? They all trained well by Bruno. It is the mark of a future invincible and world class team.

Europa league winners get CL spot. It is a big competition. Winning it will always be an honor.

Methinks they are still short of players in key positions and the midfield is not contributing enough in terms of goals. We have an excellent striker in Cavani but we'll only have him for the next 12 months. Fred hardly scores and is the only Brazilian I know who cannot shoot. The burden of scoring and creating lies heavily on the shoulders of Bruno and Pogba. Bruno thrives in a diamond shape midfield behind the no.9 and Pogba on the left The other two Fred and Mctominay for the most part are defensive. They need creative minds in the middle.

Rashford is average at best. He has improved as a player. Greenwood is the exciting one.

Get a good CD. Take Milenkovic over Pau Torres, Kingsley Coman, Max Aaron on the right, Grealish or Declan Rice over Jadon Sancho and look for the next Cavani. That would be the winning combo.
