Its nothing to do with elections.
What you are witnessing are post BM education, NEP affirmative action leaders. They will come up with irrelevsnt issues as they are out of touch with reality.
Most of these leaders have not worked in private sector before.
Unless some capable leader takes charge, the country is doomed in racial rhetoric.

Johore election, i Believe umno only got 16% of the votes. You add BN, plus PAS and bersatu, all malay only parties, they got maybe 30%. Most didn't bother to vote due to dismsl choices,
