KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — A 62-year-old American pastor was found bound and dead in his double-storey house in Taman Sri Ukay, Ulu Klang here yesterday, said police.
The Sunday Star reported that David James Ginter’s body was discovered with his hands and legs bound while his neck was wrapped with a mobile phone charger wire.
Ginter had been living in Malaysia for four years and was a pastor in a Jalan Ampang church, the weekly said, quoting sources.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Amiruddin Jamaluddin said the victim’s wife, an Australian woman who is away in Australia, last contacted her husband at about 10pm on Friday.
“We are still investigating the motive. There is no sign of forced entry but we are not ruling out the possibility of robbery as one of the motives,” he was quoted as saying in the report.
Amiruddin said the body has been sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for a post-mortem.
“She (the wife) had asked her neighbour to check on her husband after she failed to contact him this morning,” he said, adding that the neighbour had a spare key.

I doubt many Sporeans will wait that long. The young want decent jobs that pay a living wage, housing, etc . The old need affordable health care, The PAP can of course ignore these needs but the longer they ignore the "lesser mortals" the greater the anger will grow.
With the growing anger there might not be a place for the Lee's & the PAP in Spore

Hopefully the wave of change in malaysia will embolden and wake up sinkies frm their stupor....that this PAP government is using their own interpretation of the law to bend the rules and continue with their shenanigans....aIM is one fine example.....it is clearcut conflict of nterest yet they reverse engineer and say because there was no monetary interest is no conflict....fuck off undstand!!

I know what you mean. But I am looking at the opposition side, and how prepared they are. For Malaysia, they started the process way back. In 2008, they got Penang (among others) and denied the incumbent 2/3 majority. Also very important is that they jumpstarted the 'learning process' because they have a ex-DPM.
I look at our opposition. If the groundswell is really that big and people demand a ubah, are they ready to take it?
I am saying, maybe there is no short cut, it just takes time... Or maybe there is, if an "Anwar" appears. But I don't see any in the foreseeable horizon.:(
