That means everything that comes into Singapore has to be bought with Sing $, and that makes imports comparatively cheap. Our biggest trading partner is Malaysia, where we get most of our food and water from. Have u seen the RM exchange rate vs Sing $. We are robbing them. In real terms, our food is actually cheaper if coming in from Malaysia.

In case your little brain don't know, 85% of the commercial properties are controlled by the govt. Anything from hawker centre stalls to kopitiam to big aircon shopping centres. The govt raise the rent on the tenants of these properties, and so the merchants and hawkers have to charge more to their customers. Therefore this component of the inflation is caused by the govt. Understand. Companies have to deliver goods to their customer and petrol is so expensive because of tax levied by govt. These companies have to charge more to cover it and pass the cost on to the customer. There are thousands of example where the greedy PAP are the actual cost of inflation in Singapore. Get your head out of your cunt and start thinking.
