Not only water and electricity. One of the main big concern is food supply also. Does Sillypore has enough food supply to feed all the 7 mil of people each day at a "reasonable affordable price"? Food in Sillypore is getting expensive and we don't cultivate our own food and all of them are imported. A simple "supply and demand" calculation will tells you that we will ended up paying higher price for food and all other daily necessity. No doubt we can import food from our neighboring countries but with 7 mil of people I believe our neighbors may not even have sufficient food to feed their own citizens if they sell tons of food to Sillypore. When supply exceed demand, price will shoot up sky high.
Thats why NTUC has been quietly buying up farms all over the region and especially in Australia. They already know about these plans and have been rolling out their products in prepartion for the population boom. if we investigate closely, we might find a number of PAP people who have been stealing a march by front-running this news,
I'm sure you will find a lot of Ministers MPs and their families quietly profiting from it. i wonder whats the legality of all this ........bo cheng hu right???
