Sikhs respect all religions and welcomes all. Please remember that the first companion of Guru Nanak singing religious hymns was Mardana a Muslim. The fifth Guru Arjan Devji asked Mia Meer to lay first foundation stone of darbar sahib (Golden Temple) was a Muslim. The sixth Guru Hargobind appointed Abdullah, a Muslim to the first tadi (a religious singer) Sikh story religious singers . Guru Gobind Singh had many Muslim poets.

Each Sunday, Culver City Presbyterian Church Pastor Frances Wattman Rosenau begins the worship service with these words:
