A BBC Newsnight investigation has uncovered evidence of organised prostitution inside a number of well known, western-branded hotels in China.

The investigation shows that sex is being bought and sold from third party-run businesses, operating from within some hotel premises.

The Ramada, Intercontinental and Kempinski hotels all deny any knowledge of the practice. Prostitution is illegal in China.

John Sudworth reports from Shanghai.

if you had been to China, this piece of info is not surprising at all... :D

I am more surprised if they tell me there are no working girls in majority of the china hotels.

Making prostitution illegal is one of the dumbest idea in the list of dumb ideas. They still exist in just about every country in the world the only difference is whether it is openly recognized or not.

The only thing that making it illegal will do is encourage sex slavery and human trafficking, encouraging corruption among enforcers, allow the spread of STDs and allowing prostitutes to be abused.

those china hotels with ktv lounge even better; can "tar pow" your chicken up to your room after you are done singing! :D

Singapore KTV also can tabao. After singing, you bring the girl and continue the singing session with her singing with your organic inbuilt mic.
