Looks like some of those pig trotters and soup kambings will have to go :(
Today i weighed myself at the gym again.
I put on 5kg very gradually over the past 5 years. As I know quite surely that I did not lose any weight in the interim, that means I put on 80 grams in one month on the average.
I have bad genes. I put on weight very easily and I still have to watch my diet despite the regular exercise.
If I put on weight I would make no excuses. It would be down to my lack of will power and determination to keep in shape. I do not need the medical profession or drug companies to create excuses for my predicament.
I'm hardly an exceptional person but that has not stopped me from developing a routine which maintains my weight at 59kg instead of 100kg or more which is what I would be if I just lazed around and ate whatever I want whenever I felt like it.
I despise fat people because if I can do it I see absolutely no reason why they can't do the same.
rofl how come you have girly weight.
The easiest way is simply to cut out all refined sugar and sugar substitutes.
Cut out even aspartame?
Of course. Our grandfathers were fit and lean on a healthy diet of rice and salted vegetables. You can do it too.
all so salty ...... some salted eggs, some salted fish, some fermented bean-curd.

I'm going back to basics: thin porridge coupled with fried bean sprouts, some salted eggs, some salted fish, some fermented bean-curd.

Yes it is bad in many other ways even though it does not add much to the calorie count. The idea of cutting out sugar substitutes is to get get used to unsweetened food and beverages.
Once you get used to the taste without sugar/sweeteners, you'll soon find that non sweetened is the new normal and anything with added sugar tastes yucky.
i used to add 3 packets of brown sugar to a cup of coffee.
No you don't have to cut out any part of your diet. I still enjoy all my favorite dishes on a regular basis.
The trick is simply to consume in moderation.
But then again my granddad ate his way to an early grave due to cancer
