Oic thanks for sharing. I just think that there's a need for security to be tighter in Malaysia as compared to Singapore. Cos break-ins with parangs do happen in Johor and it's not really as rare as one might think. Our friend Mallow here already had her house broken into for the 3rd or 4th time, and the last one was the above kind of senerio which I've stated. Pls don't get me wrong, everyone wants and prefer different kinds of security level. I won't voice out and inconvenience all my neighbours when the majority has a certain preferance. I'll just spend money to
ensure my own added security with grilles, sensors etc. Afterall, this is community living and I hope to have a friendly one too. After hearing from you, I can accept this for the convenience of others in EL. Just hope that the security will not be too complacent as time past. To tell you the truth, I ever managed to gain entry into phase one at night, around 8pm, just by telling the guards that we are meeting an agent inside. They let us in even though the agent haven't
arrive. While waiting inside phase one, we drove around the whole compound and the guards didn't even bothered. We did the same at Leisure Farm once and guess what, after sneeking into one of the very big bungalow precinct and roaming around freely for about 10 mins, the Gurkha guards came in 2 vehicles to intercept us and escorted us out. That's the kind of professionalism I hope EL's security also has.
Have a great day future neighbour
