Goodness Gracious!
All these extra work, costs, things to consider... and its charged PER ENTRY??!!!, no exemptions for public holidays, weekends, nothing... WOW!
Forget about JB, it's a lost cause!
I hope LTA looks into this and announce an appropriate counter response asap!!!
Yes! I hope S$35 VEP For foreign cars into Singapore become S$50 per entry and it must be 7 days a week, 24 hours. Just stop at the checkpoints to observe the number of Malaysia cars entering Singapore at 5pm Monday to Friday. Are you sure they are coming here to spend money or to make use of our booming economy and ailing ringgit at the expense of expensive Singapore car owners?
Password must have small & large cap, number and a sign like dollar or ampersand..How come I am having validation error? I am a loyal fan of this VEP Rm20 per entry and wants to be the first to register and pay but it just suxks
no jam? wow. register 1st just in case.

Quite ridiculous. I wonder whether the Singapore govt will have any concerns about Singapore registered cars having to divulge so much information.
And that includes govt registered vehicles.
Not just privately owned cars.
What's the rationale?
I called up LTA to seek their advice why vehicle registration card is required by the Malaysia side. Someone will call me back. Suggest more people to call LTA to express our concern why so much info is collected without Singapore gov cooperation.
Thanks! Wow the details they are asking for!
For those of you having problems with the VEP website registration, I hope my post will help:

I've posted it under "All about cars in Malaysia" for ease of future reference.
Just to share.
I have the same old problem despite using the password generator
At VEP web site, enter email and click "Forgot Password". They'll auto send the VEP Account Recovery email to you.
Then, login with the given password and you'll be prompted to change a new password.
Using the password generator, create a new password, this time adjusting the length longer, to say, 20.
See if this works.
You may need to do trial and error.
