Yes its a good idea to hv a few internet connections from various providers.

So even if one breaks down u can use the others.

I used to find Maxis pre-paid broadband real fast.

BUT recently I hv serious connectivity issues with maxis.

Most of the time can't even connect.

And $$ wasted

I think you must install 2 or 3 internet connection inside your house.

One for regular surfing, which can be used by adult. The other used by teenagers. The other one as standby.

How to resolve pretty easy.

HAVE an underground sump (tank).

Connect your mains direct to underground sump.

HV A pump to pump water to ur overhead tank with overflow ~cut off.

This way ur unlikely to run out of water.

Design the sump volume based on ur expected requirements catering for no water days

Lately experiencing times when no water coming through the taps from all toilets. Anyone with this problem and how you resolved it?

JECKI is located at https://www.google.com/maps/place?q=65%20Jalan%20Sutera%201,%20Taman%20Sentosa,%2080150%20Johor%20Bahru,%20Johor,%20Malaysia&ftid=0x31da6d2393d562e7:0xf3f91a4af5b3a7b6

Its signboard is yellow in color, not a big store, but just opposite Sentosa Plaza (formerly Lien Hoe Complex) THE STORE supermarket's side entrance.

Also, don't be put off by their sticker price because they will give you a discount (variable, depending on medication type) at the cashier.

Trust the above helps.

Yes my family always goes there. Buying high blood medication is cheap. Same as poly clinic here. Subsidy my arse

Metrojaya. Great discounts ending tomo , hotel quality bed sheet n others. A steal..:D

I always believed that subsidy is d biggest crap many Singaporeans believe In after having been brain washed.

Luckily more of us Singaporeans are exposed to the real price of medicines now.

Alliance Research banking analyst Cheah King Yoong said he did not rule out further measures being implemented in the future if lending to the property sector remained robust. "We believe the authorities will review the impact of these measures on the underlying economy first before taking the next step. After all, it is a delicate task juggling between curbing excessive speculation and hurting real demand. "Besides that, we believe there is a 50:50 chance of the overnight policy rate being raised by 25 basis points in the latter part of the year, which could also serve as a precautionary measure to curb speculative activities in the market,'' he said. Cheah said overall lending to the property sector would continue to constitute a significant amount of the banking loan portfolio. He said outstanding loan growth was 7.3 per cent in February and property loans remained the key driver, where loans for the purchase of residential and non-residential properties accounted for 68 per cent of credit growth. OCBC Bank (M) Bhd head of business banking Ong Eng Bin said he expected the pace of lending to the property sector to moderate slightly with the cooling measures initiated over the past few months. However, property prices could be expected to hold up well since land prices continued to be high and the cost of labour remained to be on the rise, he said, adding that building materials and associated costs were also on the uptrend from the reduction in fuel subsidies, higher utility costs and the upcoming goods and services tax (GST). RAM Ratings co-head of financial institution ratings Sophia Lee said while the rating agency anticipates residential property lending to ease this year, the continued drawdowns from previously approved loans and genuine buying activities should support growth. She agreed that the impending introduction of the GST in April 2015 would drive up prices of building materials and, consequently, property prices. This would also motivate buyers and spur demand for housing loans this year, Lee noted. - See more at: http://business.asiaone.com/propert...ancing-malaysia/page/0/1#sthash.5XgEkSEM.dpuf

PUTRAJAYA — The Government is considering three options to site the Singapore station of the high-speed rail link to Kuala Lumpur, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong yesterday.

Two of the three options — Tuas West and Jurong East — while a third, in the city, will also be looked at, but is more challenging because of the cost and land required, said Mr Lee.

Malaysia has decided to locate its terminal at Sungai Besi, which has been earmarked by the Malaysian government for redevelopment into a mixed-use community and commercial district. The Republic will make its decision within the next year or so, Mr Lee said.

The railway link, which was announced at last year’s retreat and described by Mr Lee as a “game changer”, is targeted for completion by 2020.

To facilitate the cross-border movement of goods and people, Mr Lee said the priority is to further improve the processes at the land checkpoints.

While a Friendship Bridge — which will be a third road link between the two countries — and a co-located Customs, Immigration and Quarantine facility were mooted during the meetings, Mr Lee said the present focus is to improve the flow at land checkpoints. He noted that in the mornings, motorists have to queue for up to one or two hours.

“In the long term, I can imagine and foresee that, at some point, we need to widen the links across the Straits of Johor,” said Mr Lee, who added that both countries should study how an “iconic symbol” of close bilateral ties could be developed for motorists to enter Malaysia from Singapore.

Mr Najib said the current capacity of the Causeway will not be sufficient for future requirements. On the possible timeline for the Friendship Bridge, he said: “We’ll decide as and when that will happen. But let’s just say it’s a long-term project.”

the google map does not indicate where the "new town" is. KFC is at the junction of J113 & Pontian-Skuai Highway, which is also known as J5.

I went there twice and I drove thru taman university.
one thing you must do though is stop at petrol kiosk to ask,
If you think you hv lost your way.
one mistake people do is not remembering how you get there after all the trouble,

There is a ECONMART supermarket in the Pekan Nanas. Along the way, there are a few signages indicating the direction to ECONMART. I go by E3 highway towards Setia Eco Gardens direction from bukit indah, it is nearer.

It is a ploy by the SG govt to discourage Singaporeans from crossing over to j b.
Typical of pap on one hand appear to encourage SGP to invest in iskandar and on the other hand make it really tough to go over. Maybe trying to sabotage visit Malaysia year 2014.

This bad hold up seems gonna last forever! Last Tuesday was even horrible for bus commuters. Many of us ended up walking across the causeway coz the immigration asshole were holding up the buses, not letting them into the bay. After over an hour of frustration, many just gave up.

Haha.. That's bit too far fetched..

But I do hope that the jam situation can be resolved. It's just plain ridiculous
