Am wondering if anyone here lives in or knows about Danga View condo. Its off the 'radar' I guess as prices are below 500K except for large units. My Malaysian friend who's moving to JB is asking me if its well maintained, she's looking to rent or even buy. Location suits her as she wants to be relatively near to both sides.

Danga view has its pros and its share of cons, i won't comment here but years back, a bro already gave us feedback in earlier threads. It has finally gone up but still units can be purchased for below 500k. Not really for me though.

Probably an ex-malaysian converted to Sg citizen longtime ago but have Malaysian family living in JB and blaming us for pushing up their cost of living. Hence trying to discourage us from moving up north.

Yes I'm getting the granite separately because I found a supplier which has the whitest granite with the name 'White Pearl'. Other suppliers don't have granite which is so white. The supplier is Hock Heng Marketing (Southern Region) Sdn Bhd. Tel: 07-386 8028.

The granite supplier doesn't need to coordination with the cabinet maker because the granite maker will do their measurement and installation after the kitchen cabinet has been installed.

I bet 2 Astaka Condos can outperformed 1 EL and HH Bungalow in the next five year.

Your bungalow at RM2.6m is same price as 1 Astaka condo unit. It will be a close fight in term of capital gain.

Only buy when price jumping to new level. Break out etc. capture the best move at shortest time.

Sell, cash in all the profit, invest in other asset classes or other area properties.

Do note that unless you can cash in,its just on paper the race has not ended yet...until cash is in hand do not claim victory and rejoice yet.

No lah, I am ex-forex trader with a local bank.

I am more a trend reader.

Slightly better in FX, Precious Metal and properties.

Stock Market is not my cup of tea. Only have a few stocks vested.

Most of my retirement fund are profit from Singapore properties. 60% at least.

My strategy of 3-5 years and mx 7 years are for properties.
Eg. I bought The Sail units in 2005-2006 and sold in 2011-2012.
