Yes, but the discount we got was pretty steep so really got exceptional price at that time. Now one type of commercial unit has appreciated 200k there and one old commercial unit was auctioned off for 1.6m, now renting for 1 RM psf (12,000 sqft built in)

Did get lucky and managed to help get discounts and save 10k here and there for friends for individual purchase but thats probably because i introduced quite a few to some developers here and always pro bono.

wish ur words would have come true. HH doesnt have the alternative unit for the size that we have. We opted to go for cluster house(our initial unit was terrace) and we are ready to fork out some additional money and wanted some discount from HH as well. But HH turned down our request... they say price cant be negotiated for alternative unit...

Try ask for refund and perhaps they will offer something or seek legal advice?

Believe me, waiting and counter staff ignore me all the time (i must have some form of new auto camo always enabled - Think MGS4). Thats why somehow from certain angles, i must somehow have defied physics and look thin enough so that nobody notices me when i go shopping. Same when i go into a lift, i press the door open for people, ask them for the floor and 99% never get a word of thanks. Same when i stopped for people crossing zebra crossing (how they fail to see my car is another matter)

Ladies always dismisses me out of hand which actually is quite a good thing. Wife knows no woman will take a 2nd look at me once they see me so she always feels very safe.

She will pretty much ensure i will never go back to pre-marriage size, not that it matters anyway as my looks will probably scare away the dogs even.

Agree, just called a learned friend earlier today. He says that alternative units, normally are offered as goodwill and some don't even bother and just refund straightaway and not always with interest.

Its really up to the individual developer if they want to do something extra.

This exercise made me realise though, there are actually still a lot of good people in this world. Always helping people out, just very lucky to find the good ones.

狮城商人新山住家 开煤气烧炭自杀

　　（新山讯）一名44岁的新加坡承包商昨早被发现开煤气烧炭“双料自杀”，卧尸于柔佛新山百万镇住家单位内，死者饲养的五只狗也成“陪葬品”。
　　据《南洋商报》报道，相信死者朋友无法联络上他，昨天早上约10时联络警方到场破门而入，发现死者已身亡，相信死亡时间超过24小时。

　　消息说，死者倒卧在二楼主人房，房门上贴有英文书写的“注意，内有一氧化碳”纸张。房内有小桶煤气及煤炭，冷气还开着，地上躺着五只已没有生命迹象的狗。

　　死者为新加坡籍男子庄显贵（译音），独自住在百万镇一间双层排楼，养了五只狗。

　　死者亲友昨天下午前往新山班兰医院办理后事，其中一人相信是死者父亲，但不愿接受媒体采访，因此无法探悉死者为何轻生。

　　可靠消息说，死者遗体昨日傍晚运回新加坡住所停柩。

马国警方：案件没刑事成分

　　新山南警区主任再努丁昨日傍晚受询时证实此案，并表示死者在房门口留下字条，内容写着“注意，房内充溢一氧化碳。请屏住呼吸入内，打开所有门窗，让空气流通。请不要唤醒我。谢谢。抱歉造成大家的困扰”。

(He is really good and was a university undergrad). Anyway,this chap plans to get a home in Nusajaya and enjoys a semi-retirement life away from life in Singapore. He would like to start tuition classes for parents who have children commuting to S'pore for primary school studies. just wasn't too sure if there is a real demand for S'pore trained tutors in Nusajaya. I guess he needed to get this figured out before committing a home in Nusajaya.

Bro, i am serious, no one can see me at all sometimes. I can wave my hands around in a restaurant, coffeeshop or cafe for half an hour sometimes and no one would notice me. I have a very very under utilized booming voice though which surprises a lot of people around me when i need to grab their attention in an emergency. Something learned and left over from the army days i guess.

I am sure you are quite ok for both the front and the back. For me, its neither. Still can't believe my wife married me. I was one of those i thought least likely to be selected by any girls, was a wall "leaf" during my teens.

Confirmed there is a future for teaching prospects here as its one of the 9 sectors that they are concentrating on. You may be on to something. I won't want to have him buy a place before finding out more. Its always good to do some more due dilligence first as i
may well be wrong.

I am sure there is a market.. There are many malaysia kids who take bus everyday to Singapore for schooling.. I also see many tuition centers in Bukit Indah area.. Education is one of the most important thing for most parents in Singapore or Malaysia..
