I found this piece of information on another forum. I have difficulties using the "Search" function on this forum. If I type "renovation", all threads with "renovation" comes out. It doesn't pin point u to the page that has the word renovation. So imho, I think the search function is rather useless. Any IT savy people around can teach me how to do the search?

i just joined the bandwagon . bought resale so only 4-5mths laer then will get th keys.

Was thinknng of renting a unit fo 6 monthswhie waiting and renovating

I need some rough figures to make some decision

1. how much to move house furniture n appliances etc from horizon to horizon? e.g gateway to gateway or golf east to gate way ...

2. Is it better to shift house 2 times like spore to Rented Horizon to Own house horizon? or rent a fully furnished unit then shift one time only from Spore to Own unit?

and anyone renting out short term 6 mths, budget ard 3000rm ?

Congratulations!!!! Very glad for you. I think few hundred to 7-800 depending on the amount of furniture.
Depends on how much furniture you have, generally better to use the rented house furniture as by the time
you are ready to move, you can put in new furniture into your new house. Some people like it, some don't
prefer so i guess it depends. 6mths will be quite short, budget 3k should be easy to get.

No need to try 1st link. My friend who is a SPR and Malaysian just got stopped by the MY custom in first link for the same reason. That is why I'm seriously considering MM2H.
