Hi RedsYNWA,

Last heard is RM768K facing the old estate. The one facing garden is RM788K and the one facing S-E is RM808K.

Thanks. I have also been to Sutera Utama's Inspirations project (2.5 storey terrace). At RM 728k, it's quite pricey and traffic could be an issue. But the house is really nicely done, and materials used seem gd as well. If I had not purchased elsewhere, it would have been a possible choice. Din know that Keppel-land is one of their shareholder as well.....

Think education is only a process of imparting knowledge.. the differential is usually the attitude of the person whether is a pursuit of knowledge or paper qualifications.. the former will continue to build his knowledge base while the latter loses it with time..

Bro wuqi, this has very much reinforced your message that degree/education is not everything ...

1 in 2 new US graduates are jobless or underemployed

*World*|Updated today at 10:17 AM
WASHINGTON (AP) - The United States college class of 2012 is in for a rude welcome to the world of work.

A weak labour market already has left half of young college graduates either jobless or underemployed in positions that don't fully use their skills and knowledge.

Young adults with bachelor's degrees are increasingly scraping by in lower-wage jobs - waiter or waitress, bartender, retail clerk or receptionist, for example - and that's confounding their hopes a degree would pay off despite higher tuition and mounting student loans.

An analysis of government data conducted for The Associated Press lays bare the highly uneven prospects for holders of bachelor's degrees.

Agree. But sadly, the education system nowadays are more towards the academically-trained kind of mode, instead of encouraging the growth of multiple perspectives. Whoever score the highest, and pass with best grades are usually the one
that gets more lime light tho ...

U said 2 years ago, and the price was still much cheaper then. But u didn't take action because u didn't see it happening. Then mr angel, jasonjst, introduced u to this forum 2 years later, and it convinced u to venture into the property in jb and it was such a gutsy move for a lady in your circumstances. It's commendable.

And u see how things had changed for u over those period of time?

One day, a chicken might have ribs and sweet and sour chicken ribs will be a hit.

Nothing is impossible.

Look at this mother hen. Gave birth to this baby chick without laying eggs. It's like human ... I'm sad that the mother hen didn't make it in the end ...

(KOREA HERALD/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - A hen in Sri Lanka gave birth to a chick without an egg, veterinary officials said.

Instead of being laid by the hen and incubated in the nest, the egg was incubated inside the hen for 21 days and then the chick hatched inside the mother. The chick is normally formed and healthy, veterinarians say, although the mother hen died.

The government veterinary officer in the area, P.R. Yapa, said he had never seen anything like it before, the BBC reported.

An examination of the hen's carcass showed the fertilised egg had developed within the hen's reproductive system but stayed inside the hen's body until it hatched, Dr Yapa said.

Look how cute and pretty the baby chick is

Paper qualification gets you the job, whether you succeed from there depends mainly on your performance & lady luck..
My 1st boss (ang moh) has only primary education, but his common sense is somewhat better than engineer's knowledge..

Wow, u can almost get everything done with them then ... I like the aluminum cabinets and walk in wardrobe (open concept).

Not for a while yet, bro ... Wait till neck long long Liao

My wife and I love the idea of being able to convert our ideas into workable designs and using aluminum which is long-lasting. We thought of using it for the grills, gate and fence, sliding patio doors, shoe and kitchen cabinets, walk-in wardrobe and many more.

Bro, when will ur place be ready?

My understanding is the kindergarten and town hall will have access from outside the main road not from inside. So technically it won't be that crowded past the gate. It's at Phase 8E right?
Of course I haven't been to the sales office in ages. I do look at it positively in that it means the neighbourhood becomes livelier with more activity.

No idea at all ....
i saw e info form NI webpage ....
Anyway , P8 i think too crowded liao , heard kindergarden confirmed will build inside ! And the town hall will be just outside ....
Only last week when my neighbour pointed out to me n realised my room will be diagnally facing the surau !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
Just wondering is the RM500k minimum price for foreigners purchase is for new developments only? If also include resale, then if min price when raise to RM1mil, we can only resell it to locals if house (resale) value remain below the new min price? Does this regulation also include condos? Any advice? Thanks.

Quoted by someone who have confirmed with the sales office :

"the school and the function hall would have their entrances from outside. However, the childcare center would have its entrance inside. Only registered vehicle with labels are allowed in but are not allowed to remain inside for too long. It seems that there is a childcare centre in an older NI precint with similar arrangement that poses no problems for the residents. "

I thought it is a fact the bumi policies in MY give preferential treatment for Malays, no? Also Diaspora is Malaysian, why did you assume and make such comment that there is always 'fair' Spore to return to? You mentioned you have been in SG long enough, hmm not whole life..are you Singaporean?

Exactly, some of our forummers are locals like my friend who told me the prospects of getting something within 10 years is next to zero.
If it is something true, its nothing to hide. Living here and being a PR are 2 different things altogether.

Just like the mafia, if you are not Italian, you will never go beyond an associate and never become a made man. Part and parcel of life.

Its across the board. In the past before the raising of the 500k rule, it was 250k for new and 350k for subsale. Now its 500k across the board unless you are buying certain condos which are leasehold and which have special permission to be purchased by foreigners below 500k like the one Medini.

Yes if you are looking to resell it below the minimum then its local, else you can up it to the new minimum and sell it with furnishings, etc to bump it up. Buying with a long term view for own stay is still the best.

No differentiation between new and subsale for now.

Ha, I tried that once in a Singapore golf course with a group of children, saw a lot of strange animals...
I also have tried doing that several times over trekking, army or camping trips in Thailand, Nepal, Australia, NZ, Taiwan and Malaysia of course.. I planned to do that one day in HH if I can't sleep and when the sky is dark.... Just climb over the fence no problem for me...as the fence is just beside my house..

Nice, its really good. Actually if you do up a balcony towards the back, you can already do that, just put on a groundsheet or a sleeping bag.
Lie down and relax looking up at the skies. Climbing over the fence isn't too recommended as there are guards there who may mistake you guys
as intruders.
