Little-known PAP style land grab: school mergers

Made a post several years ago, which needed an update.

The acquired land from a 'school merger' isn't just used to build HDB flats. It's also used to build MRT stations.

This school in West Coast is going to be demolished for building a Cross Country Line MRT station.

This school is merging with New Town Secondary School in 2023. The merger will be at New Town Secondary School.

Some of the students took photos and videos of the school in 2022 before it was permanently closed, and this particular video revealed quite a bit: the youths are wising up to the bullshit of this regime.

Gaslighting about not enough students, falling birth rate etc -> merge schools -> grab the land from one of the schools -> build things to boost the GDP.

I'm sure it's happening in many places on the island.

No worries. PAP already have a solution for that. They will just hang the lightning logos on school walls. Kids will grow up not knowing anything else and when it's time to ballot, guess what is familiar?

That's why it should be illegal to have political party logos anywhere except during elections.

MOE said that although Outram Secondary School is an established institution, its current location in York Hill is in an area where demand for secondary school places is falling.

Now we just need to keep an eye on the plans they have for that nice chunk of land next to York Hill.
