It is good for some notorious PAP bastards. But there is no executioners with this skill any more especially in Singapore. You may need to built a robot to do this.
From what I read. Some extreme cases took 3 days to complete (die) and every details are recorded by a magistrate supervising the execution. In one report summited to emperor by a magistrate, the imperial prisoner died only after 12,000 cuts.
The executioners are trained from family secret manuals that past down from ancestors, only their own family children can learn and serve as executioners. Their professional fees makes family wealthy. But there is risk. Law said if prisoner died prematurely (before a certain number of cuts) the executioner responsible is to died in the prisoner's place, therefore they have to cut carefully and skillfully according to instructions from their family's secret manual.
As an executioner one must know the human anatomy very well and have physician's skill know how to access the prisoners' limits and conditions. Not only bleeding is controlled, they actually ensure that prisoners sustain consciousness as long as possible. Pain is felt but not to the extend of passing out.
