Lee Hsien Loong's stellar military career

Sorry to interrupt, I think there were (at that time) T and S. Normally, start with T first, after confirmation (one year or more), then became S.

Actually, I still contest your claim there are two ranks in CPT, MAJ, LTC and COL

T were for appointment holders....but technically cannot be promoted to the rank. ie NS NCO chaps holding rank of sgt then.

narong, T=temporary (just promoted, junior guy being assessed) S=substantive (permanent rank).

T also applies for the appointment holders, e.g. platoon sgt instructors for recruits, who may not be confirmed as a sgt, but it also applies for guys just promoted to their rank and later confirmed as S (substantive).

always thought T ranks are local ranks... :p:p:p

Thanks for your clarification on that. :)

actually I think that's true also, meaning that if that guy holding the rank of T-sgt training recruits locally, were to go for an overseas exercise or even for war, he reverts back to a cpl or 3sg and resumes his permanent rank and appointment as section commander and not platoon sgt.

Thanks for your clarification on that. :)

this is just my understanding of the system and not confirmed, bros with more complete information can clarify or add-on...............

Oh, and by the way, the thread discussions are interesting but the thread title is ludicrous.

Since when do they need to follow any fucking rules?

Any rules that they can pervert they will do so. And if cannot pervert, they make new fucking rules.

Even got Senior Minister upgrade from Prime Minister? Bastard LKY even make Mentor Minister to be additional, and that singkies got to pay for

You all lucky enough LHL is a kuching kurad BG.
LHL can even be a fucking Field Marshall in one single promotion.
Even better , LHL can be Field Marshallissimo.

Aand what can you all do about thayt?

Enough sinkies voted and voted them the right to do as they wish, fuck you as they wish, bleed you as they wish.
They can do about anything that they wish for and more.

congrats on making this thread 20 pages long

Good to know you and I contributed to that
Very worthy subject.

Stand with me in promoting Field Marshallissimo for our forlon LHL.

So he can walk tall instead of walking in a pink shirt ah qua style

I've of course heard about the extras PAP make as director, special consultant, etc.
Since LHL is such a talented person with so many titles to his name I was wondering if he is still receiving pay from his brigadier days:confused: What about from all his past MP positions. Is it possible for civil servants to receive multiple salaries at the same time:confused:

good questions. We know of double dipping but multiple dipping????

Only if some one can leak out this info we will never know.
