It's only common that there will be some whom will denigrate taxpayers efforts to help others, perhaps out of ego, pride, self centeredness, too well paid to care about others, political affiliations, etc, etc.
Our Manpower Ministry had done the right thing thru such initiatives, to prepare our fellow citizens whom are finding difficulties in getting jobs to put food on the table for themselves & loved ones - the family, which is the building block of Civilization, in this rapid & fast changing World we live in.
Those whom are given the responsibility as well as taxpayer funded reasonable fees for their time that they can spare, to help uplift citizens' lives will be made up of trained pragmatic professionals whom have vast knowledge experience in industries & services to know what works & what will not work, along with critical but pragmatic empathy as one can take a horse to the river for water resource, but it is another thing to make the horse drink the water....
Thus, do not deny the many whom are seeking professional help, thru our taxpayers funded & elected MPs & Cabinet Ministers in charge of MOM. Don't turn them away. Give everyone a chance, as each has born gifted free will to chose, to learn, to adapt & critically, to help themselves, their loved ones & later when possible, to contribute back to our Nation in various ways to progress & uplift the lives of all.......
We will leave none behind unless they choose to, as our founding & forefathers whom had sacrificed much for our todays, a legacy that is meant for every Singapore citizen as long as Singapore exists as a United Civilization under our sacred National Pledge & democratic Constitution......
