Ukrainian intelligence have managed to detect the locations of some of these Generals by tapping on their radio communications. These Generals are also in the front line. This makes them vulnerable to sniper attacks. In fact this dead General was killed by a sniper from the Azov Battalion.

a defender is always at a disadvantage when the attacker can lay siege and destroy both military and civilian infrastructure and lives. even if ukraine were to win this round she would require decades to rebuild infrastructure, economy, and lives. and russia under pu will find another time to attack again. what may deter future invasions if ukraine rides out this one is the destruction and capture of the russian army both in ukraine and lost regions of donetsk, luhansk, and crimea. if ukraine counter attacks and not only drives russians out but also encircles and captures russian men and material in the tens of thousands, it will be difficult for russia to recover militarily for at least 6.9 years. they will need time, money, men, material, machines to rebuild. and this should give the opportunity for ukraine to muscle up militarily with aid from europe and u.s. europe and u.s. will also provide at least a trillion in economy aid to rebuild ukraine. and by then ukraine will be more than ready for the next invasion.

Judging from the peace talks still on-going, my anticipation is Bloodymir Putin will have his Crimea, Donbas and Luhansk as demanded. Ukraine will also never be in the NATO alliance. Only then will there be resolve to this war. Ukraine will take many years to rebuild its economy again whilst Russia will fall into a deep recession and further isolate itself from the sanctions being imposed. The Azov snipers have been quite zhoon. I personally believe they are ex Seal or Delta snipers. This is very elite level shit

It’s too complex, too much effort. I recommend Putin to just bomb as much as possible around and in Kiev but don’t bother to take Kiev. What for? To be burdened with decades of internal conflicts? You can never smoke these guerillas out of their holes. They hide in kindergartens, old folks home, churches, hospitals. Just take the strategic locations of Russian interests including Odessa but leave Kiev to rot. Don’t forget to cut them off from surrounding countries.
