There are 2 things about Putin and this Russian invasion that the combined brains of Ukraine/NATO/USA and the rest of the world have to realize quickly, if they have not already figured it out:

1. Putin has a deep-seated ideological belief in the relationship between Russia and Ukraine. His actions, although cruel with respect to the Ukraine civilians, are not merely based on the manifestation of his ego or the desire to gain more power and a larger empire. Although his actions should not be condoned by the world, it is also pointless to just condemn him or create sanctions, because the carnage will simply continue. Dialogue should have started long ago to address all the historical issues still festering, including recent events, and some form of compromised reached. Even if it means Ukraine giving up part of their territory including those states which want to break away, then so be it, rather than subject all Ukrainian people to this kind of suffering. :coffee:

2. Putin has in the past regularly indicated that he is open to dialogue and communications with different world leaders and this is what the world "leaders" should have done (on various issues not just Ukraine). Keep the channels of communication open, and try to prevent him from coming to some type of conclusion and decision on his own. As he has shown in the past and now, once he gets started on something, he is like a mad dog holding a bazooka. Even if they are not able to convince him, they could at least have delayed him. He is not getting any younger.
that’ll just postpone the inevitable. give an inch he wants a yard. give a yard he wants a mile. give a mile he wants the whole ukraine. give the whole ukraine he wants romania and moldova. give both he wants hungary and poland. give both he wants latvia, lithuania, estonia. give all he wants finland and sweden. and let’s not forget about georgia and “tan” states. no end in sight unless he’s dead.

that token nigger pentagon chief lloyd austin the autistic is fucking useless and clueless. same with fuck joe biden.

That's not what he wants. As far back as 2008, it was reported that Putin and George W Bush had a conversation where Putin was reported to have said this:

"You know George, Ukraine is not even a country."

This dialogue between them shows a couple of points:

1. Putin has a deep-seated historical ideology about the relationship between Russia and Ukraine. Not Romania. Moldova, Hungary, etc etc. It is not just about ego and power.

2. It is possible to have a dialogue with him. At the very least, it will delay him. He is already past 69 years old.

you believe what he wants? he won’t have peace with anyone until he’s dead.

I suspect he sees himself as not just leader of Russia but the whole Soviet bloc, back to the good ole' USSR days.

To me, Putin's life is the same as one Ukraine civilian. So if you have any great ideas how to ensure his imminent death, please go and tell Biden or Zelenskyy.

However, killing him may make things worse, if a new Russian leader emerges and it turns out that he is even worse than Putin and uses that as an excuse to start WWIII. Having communication and even compromise over territory is imho a better option. Ukarine is not exactly the same situation as Taiwan, where the latter only has historical dispute over its independence. Even in current day Ukraine, these is dispute over its independence and that of certain states within Ukraine. Have a series of dialogues and possibly even a referendum to sort all that out without any more violence. That is my suggestion.

You will be surprised the fake news may actually came from NATO or America. When you knew you can't win the war, spread lies frequently until it turned Gold. Just like PAPAYA talking about GST hike is to help the poor. Singapore main stream media has begun doing that regularly.
These bastards promised the sun and the moon. In the end who showed up? Nato? America? Singapore better rethink about such empty promises

not just former soviet bloc but also the eventual destruction of finland, then sweden, then norway. if you understand russian history, russians have historical issues with finland and have never figured out how to subjugate it. even in ww2 with her might of over 696 divisions after defeating germany, the soviets dared not invade finland again after suffering horrendous losses and going nowhere at the very long border. what putin did to georgia and what he tried to do in azerbaijan via an armenian proxy are still fresh in our minds. this narcisist is a bully and hegemon and he will stop at nothing until he’s dead.

Don't worry, he won't have time and energy to deal with Finland, Sweden, Norway etc even if he wants to. Bestest way is to keep him in a web of dialogue and communication until he turns 96.

Rubbish. Putin has been the most peaceful President of a superpower in the last 30 years. He has made an attempt to negotiate with your masters every other year, they chose to ignore him, until he sent in his troops. Now everyone starts to listen.

Russian forces were "holding hostage" more than 400,000 people by blocking humanitarian aid and evacuation from Mariupol, Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted earlier Wednesday. He claimed that nearly 3,000 newborn babies were in dire need of food and medicine. "I urge the world to act!" he tweeted. "Force Russia to stop its barbaric war on civilians and babies!"

........Sharing disturbing photos on Wednesday showing dead bodies strewn across badly bombed out city blocks, Emine Dzheppar, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, said Mariupol is "besieged" by Russia invaders who keep shelling and killing the civilian population of the city.

"They don't care whether it's elderly person, women or children," she wrote. "We ask to close the sky over Ukraine or provide us with weapon we need and we will do ourselves."

........Natalia Mudrenko, the highest-ranking woman at Ukraine’s U.N. Mission, told the Security Council that the people of Mariupol have "been effectively taken hostage," by the siege. Her voice shook with emotion as she described how a 6-year-old died shortly after her mother was killed by Russian shelling. "She was alone in the last moments of her life," she said.

how much is your ccp master paying you for spewing crap on the internet?

The US has been picking up the tab for European partners security for too long so it's expected they will boss everyone around. But this time shit has really hit the fan. The European economy will also suffer badly from the Russian energy embargo.

Like I said, the continental Euro bros will inevitably become more independent from the Anglo-Saxon AUKUS bros
Russia is not a threat anymore since 1991. Why should EU spend unnecessarily on weapons?
Putin have been reminding nato the pledge they made not to expand eastward. But they just could not be bothered.

I think Biden is truly senile liao if this is true. Sanctioning China would be opening up another front.

Sanction with what? More tech ban? Student ban? Battery ban? Olympic ban? Batman ban?
Whore ban. Its the main cause of the huge trade deficit between US and china.
