KYIV: Ukraine today rejected Moscow’s offer of humanitarian corridors to Russia and Belarus, Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said.
“This is not an acceptable option,” she said, after Russia proposed safe passage for civilians from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Mariupol and Sumy.

The civilians “aren’t going to go to Belarus and then take a plane to Russia”.
The Russian army said earlier today it was opening humanitarian corridors from the four Ukrainian cities.

Russian army spokesman Igor Konashenkov said local ceasefires had begun at 7am GMT to allow civilians to escape.
Fighting was still ongoing Monday in the four – the capital Kyiv, the second city Kharkhiv in the east, the southeastern port of Mariupol on the Sea of Azov and Sumy, near the eastern border with Russia.
But the fact the corridors led into Russia or its ally Belarus raised questions over the safety of those who might use them.
Two recent attempts to allow thousands of civilians to leave the besieged city of Mariupol have ended in disaster, with civilians under fire and both sides accusing each other of violations.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed to “neutralise” Ukraine “either through negotiation or through war”, and expectations remain low for a third round of Russian-Ukrainian talks set for today

If the Ukraine government really did not want their people to suffer, they would have acted a lot differently before Russia decided to invade. Hopefully the idiots from the DPP in Taiwan would have learnt a lesson from this.

Ix Shen has went through NS military training. He's not the sort to run away at the first sight of war.
That was history. My uncle doesn't believe he doesn't fear death now. Furthermore his military training was also wayang to Max although physically it was tough.

The Ukrainians should be made to leave naked, so that they aren't smuggling weapons or contraband out of the city.

Putin has walked right into the trap laid by the West.
I don't think Putin walked into anyone's trap. He had 8 years to prepare his energy and food output.

What can international sanctions do to Russia now? He had always been a step ahead

1. Ukraine to stop all military operations and cease fire.

2. Recognize Luhansk, Donetsk and Crimea.

3. Change status to neutral by amending the constitution.

Once demands are met, Russia will withdraw immediately.

The demand for denazification (aka change regime) and the removal of certain weapons in Ukraine no longer Russian demands.

If he had been truthful, why need to censor the Internet (meaning Twitter and Facebook)? Why need to impose restrictions on those 2 Independent TV stations until they have to close down for fear of their staffs being arrested and put in jail for 15 years? Why use batons to beat up their own unarmed citizens for peaceful protests. Can't they just be rounded off and put into the bus since they are unarmed? Can any capable Pro-Putin's forumers kindly enlighten?
