Ukrainian man kneels in front of Russian tank after trying to stop it with his bare hands

A brave Ukrainian man has been filmed trying to block a convoy of several Russian tanks with just his hands as the invasion of the country continued.

The video was filmed outside Bakhmach – a city located roughly at the midpoint between Kyiv and the border with Russia.

It starts with the man lying face down on the front end of the first tank as the convoy is travelling down a street.

He jumps off the vehicle and, while still facing it, leans against the front of it with his arms outstretched until the tank comes to a complete stop.

The man then kneels on the ground and stays there for a few seconds until a number of people approach him from two directions.

A person then leads him a short distance away from the tank, while another person – who is also standing in front of the vehicle – brings it to another stop.

A number of people can be seen shouting and gesturing at the Russian troops, while others film the incident on their phones.

The driver of the tank then accelerates and the second person is moved out of the way. The convoy passes in clouds of exhaust smoke.

The video was shared on social media on Saturday, the third day of conflict unleashed by Russia after Vladimir Putin launched an invasion of Ukraine on Thursday.

Heavy street fighting in Kharkiv – Ukraine’s second-largest city – has been reported after Russian troops encroached in the early hours of Sunday morning. Civilians are being asked to not leave their homes.

Russian troops in Kharkiv blew up a gas pipeline, according to Ukrainian officials that shared a video showing a fireball rising to form a large mushroom cloud.

Near Vasylkiv, south of the capital of Kyiv, an oil depot was set on fire by a Russian ballistic missile, officials said.

The flames of the oil depot attack could be seen from Kyiv and the fighting had prevented emergency services from being able to extinguish the blaze, according to reports.

The attacks on Ukraine’s energy supplies follows the Russian troops’ failure to capture the capital city Kyiv.

At least 240 Ukrainians have died in the conflict so far, according to the United Nations.

About 4,300 Russian soldiers have also died, according to Ukrainian deputy defence minister Hanna Maliar.

At least 200,000 Ukrainians have fled the country, with the vast majority of them having left for Poland.

Ukraine Launches Website for Russians to Find Killed Soldiers

By AFP

Ukrainian authorities on Sunday launched a website to help Russian families track down soldiers who have been killed or captured fighting in Moscow's invasion of the pro-Western country.

The site — 200rf.com — contains pictures of the documents and corpses of Russian soldiers Ukraine said had been killed since President Vladimir Putin launched the attack.

It also has videos of soldiers Ukraine says it has captured.

maybe he is unvaxxed so they taped that area to prevent the virus from entering his body through there.
what’s with the scotch-tape around the eye brows? a new form of torture like brazilian waxing but on the eye brows?

If Ng Yat Chung that fat fuck got caught during war, they can slice that pig up and eat him for a month.

considering the seriousness of the situation, it was a very polite conversation.
This shows the humane side of the Russian soldiers. The Yank soldiers would have blown the guy into pieces.

Once again the tank man reveals the humane side of the Ruskies. Just like what CCP tanks did. They politely asked the person to leave. Yanks’ armoured vehicles run over civilians like nobody’s business.

Why don't you ask yourself what happened in Tiananmen Square 1989, and there was not even a war then? Oh I forgot no matter what, you'll always falsely project Ah Tiongs as the good men as you have valuable businesses with them. In addition, you'll then say: "Oh! That Tiananmen Square incident was of course also instigated by the West". Happy?

here’s an iq question. why would russian armored units blow up fuel dumps and pipelines in ukraine when they could have siphoned the diesel reserve from these fuel depots for their invasion further in? instead, they get stuck and wait for fuel resupply from their (lack of) supply lines. what’s their collective iq of these chechen, siberian, belarusian, and foreign units? 69?

Because you can’t put raw petroleum into your tanks.

don’t be stupid lah. what petroleum. t-72s use diesel. there were diesel dumps in the oil depots that ukraine left behind. those were refined for trucks and heavy machinery.

Why you even argue with him? Many of his posts are total bull-shit, conjuring up to create even more confusion, just like he commented on my appliances as "decades old". What else is Malaysian Chinese good at? His sole purpose is to talk-friendly of his Commie masters.

You don’t transport diesel in a pipeline either… these are raw fuel… you need to process them in a refinery. I suspect the drivers of those vehicles that stopped working had the same level of IQ as your goodself

i said fuel dumps and pipelines, but that doesn’t mean fuel dumps are always connected to the pipelines nor are they always related. but there are pipelines that will serve urban markets by connecting them to storage tanks and pumps. several kinds of fuel: petrol, diesel (yes diesel), natural gas, refined or unrefined, can be transported via pipelines. diesel and petrol can also be transported via the same pipeline, in batches. not all pipelines carry unrefined or crude oil. some pipelines are distribution lines to transport refined fuel to distribution centers for consumers and commercial users in urban centers. the pipeline(s) in question are distribution pipelines for the capital kyiv. both consumer and commercial grades. go read up on how both diesel and petroleum are transported via the same pipeline. your iq just dropped to 69. you’re more dumb than i think.

Kremlin 'sends more than 400 mercenaries from private militia into Kyiv to assassinate President Zelensky and his government' - with group told peace talks are 'smoke and mirrors'

More than 400 Russian mercenaries have been flown in from Africa to assassinate Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, it was revealed last night.
A private militia known as the Wagner Group allegedly has orders from Vladimir Putin to take out Zelensky - and 23 other government figures - to allow Moscow to take over its eastern European neighbour.
According to the Times, the army-for-hire, run by oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin - a close ally of the Russian president who is often dubbed 'Putin's chef' - was flown in five weeks ago and is being offered a huge sum for the mission.
The highly-trained operatives are said to be waiting for the green light from the Kremlin to pounce, with their hit list also including Ukraine's prime minister, the entire cabinet, mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko and his brother Wladimir - both boxing champions who have become iconic figures on the front lines of the capital.
However the plans were rumbled after they reached the upper echelons of the Ukrainian government on Saturday morning.

It prompted Kyiv to declare a 36-hour 'hard' curfew, ordering everyone indoors so that soldiers could sweep the streets for Russian saboteurs.
Citizens were warned that they risked being 'liquidated' if they were spotted outside during the curfew hours, as they may be assumed to be the enemy.
A source with knowledge of the Wagner Group's activities told the Times that between 2,000 and 4,000 mercenaries had actually arrived in Ukraine in January, but with different missions.
Some were sent to the rebel-held regions of Donetsk and Luhansk in the east of the country - while the 400 tasked with taking out Zelensky headed to Kyiv from Belarus.
The group are said to be tracking Zelesnky and his colleagues via their mobile phones - claiming to know where they are at all times.
Another source claimed the killers-for-hire have been told to put on the brakes while Putin holds 'peace talks' with Zelensky this week.
But they have allegedly been informed that the Russian leader has no desire to reach a deal, branding the meeting on the Belarus border as 'smoke and mirrors.'
News of their assassination plans has not seemed to faze Zelensky, who admitted he was 'target number one' during an address to the nation, telling them Russian special forces were hunting him.

When the US offered to extract him, he told President Joe Biden: 'I need ammunition, not a ride.'

General Sir Richard Barrons, a former commander of Joint Forces Command, said: 'They are very effective because they are hard to pin down.
'They can appear from the shadows, do very violent things and then disappear again, without it being obvious who was responsible. They are not directly linked to the Russian government and therefore they are plausibly deniable.'
Sources told the Times the militia were briefed about Putin's plans on Ukraine back in December, long before the Russian army was told.
Soldiers and generals were feared to oppose the invasion plans, and several have been executed for doing so, claimed the mercenaries.

hanor, since tattoo there is difficult, at least use some pencil-marker to draw eye-lashes to make him presentable.
