A video clip depicting an angry man giving a cop a tongue-lashing, threatening to beat up the officer, has been making the rounds on the Internet. It is believed that the man could have been the driver of a trailer and had hit a car along the highway. There were three auxiliary police officers at the scene.

However, the situation became tense AFTER one of the police officers allegedly UTTERED obscenities at the man. Contacted later, Human Rights Party (HRP) information chief S Jayathas CRITICISED the police officer for not handling the incident in the PROPER MANNER. HRP had uploaded the video to its site, PRAISING THE MAN for BEING “BRAVE”.

Meanwhile, Bukit Aman assistant managing director (public relations) ACP Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said that police had TAKEN NOTE of the video clip. “We’ve taken note of this, and we’re taking action. I’ve seen the clip, and though I do not want to pre-judge the case, I believe that somewhere, somehow the civilian was hurt, emotionally, in the incident,” said Ramli.

He said he believed the officer involved was an auxiliary policeman. “It does NOT represent the majority of the police force. This was fortunately taped because it can serve as a LESSON to other officers in the way we communicate with the public and even among ourselves,” he added.

machiam gangster wanna fight. I heard puki mak puki mak... totally lawless....

I hear 'buka baju mari' many a times--which literally means do not hide in your uniform ,fight me man to man.

Wow, this keling sure has balls; challenging a Malay policeman in uniform in matland :eek::eek:.Why?Because many are simply shot dead or brutally beaten to death by men in uniform in malusial. That's Malaysian police.

I sincerely wish we sinkies too grow some balls or soon foreigners in uniform would degrade our mothers and ancestors verbally in our very own soil too....I saw that happening by a bunch of Filipinos throwing vulgarities at an ah pek in a basketball court in Toa Payoh; where the neighborhood police post was just 50 meters away.Ah pek ran to the police post but no one came out.An hour later 2 police car came; saw them pleading with Pinoys.Sheesh !

You will never see Mat Polis apologize when they are wrong ...

The Mat always want Face ... CCB ...

Right or wrong, in Canada or US, the fella would be tasered, or made to lie down face down to be cuffed. No such thing as asking police to a fight.

Yup,that is what I had learn through baptism of fire.Never never argue with a man in uniform; police or immigration. You are the loser if you did.Always smile and call them officer.

But this incident must have a history behind. In matland Indians are targeted for shooting practice by mainly Malay policeman.Heck, even politically powerful Chinese...as in the case of one Teoh Beng Hock. an opposition political secretary to a DAP MP,was picked up by Malaysian equivalent of our CPIB for questioning but found dead lying in a pool of blood right on it's headquarters the next morning. The poor guy was young to be married 3 months later....the whole nation went goo goo gah gah.A trial ran for months with defence bringing up foreign forsanic experts. The verdict ?Suicide !:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

So,I reckon minorities must have had it enough is enough....if you gonna die why not fight dying? This is something Sinkies realize too.Either you fight for your rights or suffer slow suffocating death under current governance where foreigners are favored.

And you stand there and watch the entertainment while fellow Singaporeans are being bullied? Don't even think of calling the police or go to the police post which is merely 50 meters away to report to the police? Objectively you are more repulsive than the Filipinos. No wonder they are emboldened to bully fellow Singaporeans. You've already said it yourself : you did not "grow some balls" - other Singaporeans have.

That is because I know exactly what our police would do.I had learn that by baptism of fire.Far too many incidents for me to cite where it does not pay to be a good Samaritan.Once I had a chat with a police inspector in a station as to why is takes calls after calls and more than an hour respond to fights which could be potentially lethal. He too spoke with a heavy heart.Gone are the days when our police were on the beat on foot or bicycle.Gone are the days when men rise through ranks. The quit ratio is the force is extremely high.....And he added when you dial 999 they merely pass the buck to the command center. The command centre decides whether to despatch or not.Funny for a incident in Toa Payoh the command center in Orchard decides....that decision takes about half an hour so.Than Toa Payoh police center is activated.Again it depends on Toa Payoh police avilability and et etc etc.....So there.

Again I was told privately that whether the police acts on your 999 call is very much dependent on what you say.For example if Dr.Chee is involved than it's pronto.Fights are non seizable offence ,therefore police act suka suka. However suppose if that Pinoys are the first to call than you can expect the police to arrive in 10 minutes though despite the ah pek having run to the police post no police came out.Because they are waiting for instruction from command center.Besides our government wants to under play any 'incident' by foreigners.

Fights and assaults are technically non-seizable offences unless what's considered dangerous weapon is used or what's considered grievous hurt is caused. Many think that I'm arrogant or boasting but I'm just sharing real life experience here. In my police days, there were some challenges to buka baju too. Some were simply drunk or high on drugs and I simply beat them up till they shut the fuck up. Some were serious challenges that I took up. Some we even ended up as friends drinking together after the fight, we were both sides satisfied and shook hands. Buka baju is a fair fight where the non-police won't get charged for assaulting police. But as I've mentioned above, we only accepted serious challenges, not from those drunk or high on drugs or otherwise mentally deranged.

I don't think SPF scholar senior officers will allow this nowadays. I don't even think junior officers dare to it nowadays even if allowed.

So, juz because the police wouldn't act u think it's ok to stand by the side and watch while a bunch of pinoy shit bully a local ah pek!?

I agree with myo539 on ur cowardly behaviour. Yet you have the audacity to criticise people for being a coward when u r one urself....hyporcrisy at its best.

Stop giving excuses such as the above. U could have really done something there and then to knock some sense into those bunch of silly pinoy shit. Why didn't u walk up to that bunch of bullys and help the poor ah pek? The police station is juz 50m away, they won't dare touch you. Even if they wanted to, I am pretty sure that u could make that 50m sprint into that police post. I am pretty sure the police would take actions by then

Seriously, it is people like u that gives foreign trashes the impression that we, Singaporeans, are nice to bully.

You lack English comprehension ah?

Let me refresh. The Ah Pek already ran into the police post ;just 50 meters away.Obviously for protection but no police came out from there....only after an hour later 2 police cars came.

What I did ?......I recorded the incident in my HP...and the bunch of the pinoys were hiding their faces. But guess what; the pinoys were unhappy of me taking their shots and complained to the police....and worse, the sergeant took my IC particulars and wanted me to erase those photos...I said,ok ! I want to talk to your OC about it.And nothing heard.

So,if police refuse to come to an old man's plea for protection than you suggest I take the law into my hands?

The question of seizable offence is very subjective. All it takes is a half witted youngster to slam an MP's door and he is seized by the police.Again civil and public servants not come under the purview.Shouting at them will get you arrested.

Than there was this case.A guy was punched and few of his front teeth were gone.Hospitalized.Police say take private action. He sued. His lawyer argued that since teeth are permanent fixtures of a human anatomy and therefore the hurt caused is an seizable offence. The defense argued otherwise. The judge agreed with the defense. And fine the accused a mere $500 for the hurt caused !!!!!.....that is Singapore style of justice. The guy spent more than $5k on dental treatment alone.

For those who have been in SPF before, let's revise, and for those who haven't let's share. Police duty is to stop a fight in public. It's called an affray. Not to arrest anybody unless certain conditions are satisfied, e.g. dangerous weapons, grievous hurt, rioting. If there's a fight, police should stop the fight to maintain public order. That confers ambiguous powers too. How to stop a fight? Beat the bugger up to stop him is now usually considered police brutality. So the best is to let them fight themselves. If someone ends up in hospital or mortuary, then you record accordingly and handover case to IO.

By the way, if you fight indoors not in public, it's your business. You can slap or punch each other among friends and family indoors. Not police business until the same conditions are satisfied, i.e. use of dangerous weapons, causing grievous hurt or death.

Lionnel Susu also ex poddle and spokeman for Shitty Times, he beli garang when come to

Its pretty well known the Indians in Malaysia are the most violent.. And no one wants to fuck with them esp with a corrupt police force who would turn a blind eye.
