The food delivery driver was suspected of refusing to get off the car and confronted 18 law enforcement officers and even hit the auxiliary police.

A food delivery man riding a bicycle in Bedok clashed with law enforcement officers after he refused to comply with instructions to get off his bicycle. He was also suspected of hitting an auxiliary police officer with his bicycle and was in a stalemate with at least 18 law enforcement officers. He was arrested and charged in court.

A video posted on the Singapore Road Accidents Page Facebook page yesterday (31st) showed a food delivery man arguing with a uniformed auxiliary police officer, shouting excitedly and pushing his bicycle towards the other party. The other three auxiliary police officers nearby tried to stop the man from committing aggressive behavior."

According to the video, the man was very agitated. Later, when more law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, the man was in a stalemate with at least 18 police officers, auxiliary police officers and Land Transport Authority personnel and refused to cooperate.

It is reported that the man was suspected of suddenly behaving aggressively when law enforcement officers asked him to get out of the car, so more law enforcement officers arrived at the scene for support.

Finally, at least four police officers subdued the man in a coffee shop.

The man has been charged. The charge sheet shows that 28-year-old Singaporean Abdul Syakur Bin Ramli was accused of intentionally injuring a Certis CISCO auxiliary police officer by hitting him with a bicycle while he was performing his duties at Block 209, Upper Changi Road, New Changi Road at 7:23 pm the day before yesterday (30th).
