The mata tried to mislead the public that the judiciary officer was not fishing in that NO FISHING ZONE, and lied that he was releasing fish instead of fishing there.

The offense carries a fine between NT$30K(min) to NT$150K(max), and was exposed after the judge suffered broken leg in his fishing accident within the natural reserve where fishing is strictly banned and punishable by law.
The judge fell into water from a dam and broke his leg with 2 fractures, and was trapped there and went missing for about 20 hours, the rescuers searched and rescued him after his family reported him missing. The rescue operation involved helicopter to air lift him to hospital after the rescue workers located and rescued him from the remote natural reserve. His rescue had caused Taiwanese tax payers NT$200K.

</td></tr> </tbody></table>台中空勤隊上午出動空勤直升機救一名受傷釣客，並查出釣客身分竟是台中地方法院蔡姓書記官，從7日上午6點半落溪 之後，過了將近20小時才被救起來。由於家屬報案時說，書記官是去釣魚，縣政府保育科人員立刻表明，蔡姓書記官違法闖禁釣區釣魚，違反漁業法，要罰款3到 15萬元，由於書記官角色太敏感，和平分局事後改口解釋，書記官是去「放魚苗」不是「釣魚」。:oIo:
7日上午6點半，蔡姓釣客到溪邊釣魚，攀爬攔沙霸不慎摔進溪水，警消獲報到場，先幫男子包紮左手傷口，空勤隊也出動直升機到場救人，場面驚險。
空勤人員從機上抬出傷患，男子全身綁繩索固定，表情痛苦，腳上還穿著墨綠色雨鞋，空勤人員用黃色護具固定男子頭部，送上救護車，男子意識很清醒，還能告訴救護人員那裡不舒服。
空勤隊查出，這名蔡姓釣客是台中地方法院書記官，緊急送醫後，這名穿紅衣女同事，早一步在急診室門口接應，事後家屬趕來，也是由她出面帶領。地方法院同事：「沒有啊，沒有怎麼樣，我不認識他耶。」
家屬向警方報案時說，蔡姓書記官在7日禮拜天凌晨出門，說要去釣魚，直到晚間都沒回家，家人急得不得了，經過將近20小時終於被救出來。家屬：「昨天放假，他凌晨去的嘛，晚上沒回來，我們就馬上報警了。」
醫師：「左邊的肱骨上方有骨折，右邊腳踝脛骨的下端也有骨折。」
台中縣政府保育科表示，蔡姓書記官到保育禁釣區釣魚，違反漁業法，接下來將面臨3到15萬元罰款。家屬：「給他(蔡姓男子)一個警惕。」
書記官知法犯法嗎？由於角色實在太敏感，轄區和平分局事後解釋，書記官是去「放魚苗」，而不是「釣魚」，說辭明顯跟家屬不符，有沒有違法釣魚，警方自有一套說法，儘管如此，書記官還耗費空勤直升機救援，將近20萬元出機費用，由全民買單。
