From gov.sg website

Clarification on funding of Jewel Changi Airport

On 30 Jun 2020, a political party claimed in its manifesto that the “government has also seen it fit to splash billions of dollars of taxpayers’ dollars on extravagant public projects”, naming Jewel Changi Airport as one of such “lavish projects”.

This is incorrect.

Jewel Changi Airport was developed by Jewel Changi Airport Trustee Pte Ltd, a joint venture between Changi Airport Group and CapitaLand. It did not involve any government funds or taxpayers’ money.

Gov dot sg is the hub of fake news, and yet it constantly admonishes others to 'not spread fake news'.

Totalitarian shithole 101. 辟谣,维稳,宣传. We're only one Great Firewall short of morphing into China.

Seems like Jewel is going all out to lure customers. Pity that Changi Airport is managed by Liew Mun Leong whose son was charged with deceit. :cautious:

Perhaps Poh Li San should replace Liew Mun Leong as Chairman of Changi Airports.
