他指出，劫匪全是印度人，但由于当时情况混乱，他看不清楚有多少人干案。
据了解，受害者是在位于新山市中心黄亚福街的单位内取走现款后，由私人保安员护送至新山关卡。当受害者骑电单车通过新山关卡，在长堤行驶时，突然被数名电单车骑士截停，他虽然尝试抵抗，但却不敌。
据悉，匪徒制伏他后抢走他的电单车，再u转往回马国的方向逃走。当劫案惊动关卡人员时，劫匪已逃去无踪。
另据消息人士称，警方之后在新山关卡附近寻获受害者的电单车，但劫匪及被抢走的现款已不知所终。
消息人士说，劫案发生后，新马两地的关卡都加强了保安措施，警方也取走新山关卡的闭路电视录像助查。
今年已发生至少六起钱币商被抢案件
钱币商在新山频频成为犯罪目标，今年至今已发生至少六起钱币商被抢案件，涉及款额超过450万令吉（约180万新元）。
今年2月，也有一名骑电单车欲到新加坡的钱币商，在新马第二通道关卡附近被跟踪他的匪徒抢走约64万新元。5月期间，八名悍匪分乘三辆车，在新山彩虹花园一商业区后巷包抄一辆新加坡注册豪华休旅车，抢走一名钱币商两个装有大笔现金的公事包。
6月初，三名蒙面枪匪在新山假日广场正门口，连开九枪抢走一名钱币商装有约15万新元的背包。钱币商的保镖护主时身中五枪受伤，所幸都没有打中要害，大难不死。

This was well-planned and well executed
I guess the police may not be aware of what was going along the causeway. By the time they were informed, these robbers have already left the JB custom.
I noticed that Malaysians going through the JB custom just need to show their passport only, so not easy to trace.

I remember in the past, malaysian just need to show the COVER of their passport, don't even need to open up.

I heard it is causeway. So many robbers leaving malaysia custom to rob and returning thru the same custom in under ten minutes together. It is 100% confirm they will be caught unless all use fake passports and fake nimber plates. If thats the case, malaysia custom should wake up from their slumber.
Yesterday noon i returned to singapore thru causeway and found spore police standing at the middle of the causeway.. Not sirecting traffic.. Think to act as a deterrent

A Malaysian money changer on his way to Singapore a few days ago was robbed of more than $1 million in broad daylight, reported China Press on Wednesday.
He had cleared Customs on the Malaysian side at around noon and was then on the Causeway on his motorcycle.
The report said that when he realised he was being tailed by suspicious characters on motorcycles, he sped up towards the Singapore end of the Causeway.
But at least one of the bikers threatened him with a parang. Fearing for his life, he pulled over. He was relieved of the money on him and his motorbike too; the robbers fled back to Malaysia.
His motorcycle was later found near the Malaysian immigration checkpoint. The cash was gone. Johor police could not be reached on Wednesday.
The China Press report said the money changer had an established routine of picking up the money from an outlet along Jalan Wong Ah Fook in Johor Baru, and then bringing it to Singapore.
He would be escorted by a private security detail until the JB checkpoint, and would make his own way thereafter.
Money changers here said their counterparts in JB often bring large sums of currency here because the exchange rates here are more favourable.

Even pen, waist belt, umbrella can be used as weapon. It is a matter of how to use it skilfully and effectively at the right moment, and this requires prastise. I recalled a NS friend can use a metal ballpoint pen and shoot accurately to pierce through plywood. Amazing. He used to play darts and participated in tournaments. He mentioned it is not simple and need regular practice, and it requires whole body coordination not just eyes and hand. Imagine, just a pen, it is enough to injure a person or kill at the right point.
It is time for me to learn belt...
