Near Sutera mall, there is a plant nursery (on the way to Nusa Bestari). They do have lots of durians there. Allows you to buy and on the spot sit down and eat as well.

Thanks bro wuqi256. It would be great if there are members who knows their durians and where they can be found which in their opinion are durians of good quality and value for money. Durians can be found everywhere, but there are some places and vendors that should be avoided for cheating or some other reasons.

I am still exploring good durian stalls. But I don't think quality and price can be consistent season after season for any durian stall.

We need to be updated on the most current feasting experience for the current season.

"Chopper" stalls (chop carrot or cheat on the weight etc) are the ones that probably need to be alerted.

Wuqi, do u have any idea where i could get pure honey? I prefer fm bee farms (plantation) cos those sold at supermart already "commercialise". I am sure its not 100% pure honey.

Years back used to patronise this pak chik plantation...somewhere near Kukup area.:oPlantation deep in and off the main road. Tat Pak chik prepared the honey on the spot ie. we can see remnants like leaves mixed with the honey. I bought 30 bottle...sekali goooos..Tats what I called 100% honey.

I read this in SBF forum sometime ago when someone posted the link. Yes, those from the bee farms you bought will be genuine honey.

I read this in SBF forum sometime ago when someone posted the link. Yes, those from the bee farms you bought will be genuine honey.

This Pak chik very humble. Maybe simple minded. Not so "commercialise minded". But i always believe never take advantage of such people. Chinese called kama rite? ONe good turn deserves another. He only charges me M$18 per bottle i.e. @ 600ml. Pure HOney! But its like 11 yrs back....

Sure, i am not a durian expert so my apologies i can't help much. Lots of cheats, about the safest way is to tell them you will eat on the site but tell them last min you ta bao. Of course, they would have opened up the durians by now so this is more for immediate consumption or you are able to later pack the durians into containers into the fridge for later consumption. I would rather have cold durians than bad durians.

I heard that NI precinct 8 is almost sold out. Someone had placed a reservation fee for the last 5 units a couple of weeks back, if they did not back out and purchase all 5, precinct 8 would be totally sold out.

For precinct 7, I heard there are still some units available but that was a few weeks back.

Btw, any tamans to recommend?

Depends your budget , there are a few tamans worth to buy .... maybe laguna , bestari heights or nusa duta etc ....
Better to make a trip down and feel it yourself ....
