Arty firepower do place a part but CCP armies facing UN forces at Korea had even worse situation than KMT facing IJA. KMT forces that can count really limited such as 新一軍，鐵軍七十四軍，二十軍。

Lack of artillery was because China was under the yoke of Western and Japanese imperialist. to exploit and to sell opium to.

The battle involved a Japanese plan to conquer Xuzhou, a major city in the East. Due to lack of anti-armor weaponry, Suicide bombing was also used against the Japanese. Chinese troops strapped explosives like grenade packs or dynamite to their bodies and threw themselves under Japanese tanks to blow them up. Dynamite and grenades were strapped on by Chinese troops who rushed at Japanese tanks and blew themselves up. During one incident at Taierzhuang, Chinese suicide bombers obliterated four Japanese tanks with grenade bundles.
