The communist crooks of China always claiming that Taiwan was part of China and that was why Taiwan was not in the UN and that UN also agrees with them till the UN beh tahan and had to come out with an official statement stating their stand on this CCP lie.
Historically, China didn't know about Taiwan until Portuguese explorers named it Formosa and occupied there with the indigenous people. At that time, the Emperor of China still view it as outside of China territory then even though there were Chinese settlers there in small fishing villages. Never occupy it as a whole Island. Even as near as the Qing dynasty, they only occupied the western and northeast region of the Island and never the whole Island.
Only after the Sino-Japanese war, the Qing gave these territories to Japan and it was Japan that succeeded in occupying the whole Island and not like the Qing who occupy part of the Island.
By the end of WW2, Japan gave up the whole Island to ROC and not PRC. PRC (CCP China) declared independence from ROC (KMT China) when Mao was hiding in the western cave after the long march.
So if anyone were to declare independent, it was the CCP, and Taiwan was never under CCP PRC rule till today. Stating Taiwan is part of China just because CCP got the bigger pie, is like North korea stating that South Korea belongs to North Korea when the war never officially ended and no peace treaty was signed.

However, payments for condominium Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST) can only be made as standalone transactions.
Transactions take 3-5 business days to process, and users will receive an e-receipt via email.

It's obvious Taiwan is not part of China. They are trying to threaten/ blackmail/ entice Taiwan into becoming part of China. China needs Taiwan for a free access into the Pacific. And eventual clash with the US which lies on the other side.

Taiwan was under Qing rule from 1683 to 1895 until the Japs invaded. That makes it part of China. Saying that Taiwan is not part of China is saying that Fujian is not a part of China because 2,100 years ago it was the independent Minyue Kingdom, or, God forbid, saying that Beijing is not a part of China because it was the seat of Manchurian Qing government.

China has long ceased to be a Han-only nation - hasn't been for at least 2,300 years - and to be Chinese today encompasses a sense of culture, language, history and geography that is much wider than being merely ethnic Han. So it's disingenuous for Western commentators (and their lackeys in the East) to delineate the borders of China according to its Han heritage in determining legitimacy of PRC rule: should we return to Qin borders - or Han borders - or even Zhou borders?

The US was only declared a nation in 1776, barely 250 years ago. Texas was taken over by the US in 1845; California and New Mexico were occupied by the US in 1948.
