All these diversity and inclusive hiring is BS.
In Toronto, for many years now, they have modified the physical requirements for police constables and fire fighters, such minimum height and weight, physical tests, etc.
In an emergency, I would prefer a 6 ft 160 pound fire fighter to carry an injured person down a ladder.
Whereas, now they have hired many shorter and smaller, allow me to say, and allege, shorter and smaller Asian, ethnic and female police officers.
Although it does pertain to me, I would submit that it is preferred to have 6 ft 3 men who are 180 to 200 pounds as Secret Service Agents.
Forget about hiring females for the role of Director Secret Service.
This month, they promoted a woman to be Canadian Chief of Defence Force.
