Sorry lah...but just pointing out my observations...2 examples in a short space of time certainly made me curious and concerned...

However let me say one positive thing about Ho Ching and in this regard I say this based on personal knowledge...the patron of the Assisi Hospice is customarily the PM's wife...now when GCT's wife was the patron, she appeared to do little to help the Hospice, probably because she was backing Durai to the hilt at NKF...now when Ho Ching replaced her, Ho Ching has been quite actively involved in raising the Hospice's profile and also in fund raising which is also needed...Ho Ching has been doing a good job in this regard...I hope she continues to do more good valuable community work when she leaves Temasek...

When annouced that she was stepping down, I already stated that she will not play a major role in charities. I also believe that she will be active in Asia Society.

I am absolutely certain that she will not partake in Singapore parliamentary politics. But will emerge in supranational organisations and will be in the thick of those politics. Watch this space.
